Nervous System Overload: Why You’re Wired, Tired, and How to Regulate

Anshu Bahanda: Imagine this, you are sitting in front of a screen at the start of your day, staring at a task you were supposed to begin hours ago. You want to start, but the brain will just not corporate. It’s not fatigue. It’s just like your brain has lost the ability to focus anymore and everything seems to have gone into overload. It’s like too many thoughts are suddenly competing for space and none of them could move forward. On other days, the overload might manifest itself differently. Perhaps in the form of a headache creeping in by the end of a long day, or a stiffness in your shoulders or your neck or you just getting triggered or irritated for no reason at all. A lot of us know that feeling far too well. A recent Harvard study found that nearly half of our waking moments are spent mentally distracted, not present in our own lives. Another Stanford finding showed that chronic stress actually rewires the brain, making it harder to feel calm. So, it’s natural to wonder, what is the issue? Is it that you’re not doing enough, trying harder, or managing your time better? Or is it because your nervous system has been pushed into a constant state of alert, and no amount of productivity hacks or rest can help until somehow you regulate that again? This is Anshu Bahanda from Wellness Curated, and today we are exploring nervous system overload: why you’re wired, tired, and how to regulate.

Welcome to the Wellness Algorithm, where wellness is not fixed. It evolves as we do, with every experience and every season of our lives. This isn’t just about stress or burnout in the conventional sense. It’s about understanding what’s happening beneath the surface when our bodies stay stuck in survival mode. In this episode, we’ll explore how chronic stimulation, unresolved stress, and constant pressure affect our nervous system, why rest alone often isn’t enough, and how true regulation is less about forcing calm and more about creating safety and balance from within. Joining me is Dr Clint Rogers. He is a researcher, a Siddha-Veda practitioner, and the author of the highly-acclaimed book, “Ancient Secrets of a Master Healer”. Dr Clint bridges modern research with ancient healing systems, helping us understand stress, trauma, and regulation not just intellectually, but experientially.

I was at a conference with Dr Clint and he, amongst the crowd, he pulled up someone who had chronic pain and within five minutes, he sorted out this man’s pain which had been there for years and years and years. Before we begin, a small request. Please subscribe to the podcast. It’s free, and it supports our mission to bring you meaningful, well-researched conversations, science-backed conversations that make wellbeing clearer, kinder, and more personal. And if today’s episode resonates, share it with someone who might be looking for a gentler way to feel whole again.

AB: I want to jump in and ask you something. Now, people often say that they are stressed. But what you described in your books and talks sounds deeper than just everyday stress. How would you describe nervous system overload, and how would you say it’s different than just being busy or being tired?

Clint Rogers: Yeah. Beautiful questions. Anshu, first of all, wonderful to be invited on this program and for everyone listening. I don’t believe you’re listening by accident. You know, in the whole journey of this book, Ancient Secrets of a Master Healer. The subtitle is A Western Skeptic, An Eastern Master in Life’s Greatest Secrets. I was a big skeptic Anshu, as you know, that these ancient secrets could make a difference. But what it did is it gave me a different perspective of seeing the world. You know, when I met my teacher, and I’ll show you a picture of him and then I get to your, your amazing, very powerful question. When I met my teacher, Dr. Naram, his patients were people like Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela. And, you know, he made claims that, people made claims about him that he could help people with things like their nervous system or joint problem or mind, mental health or sleep or regrowing hair or having babies again or even reversing chronic diseases. And I always wondered, how is that possible? And I doubted it. I actually went to prove it wrong, but it proved me wrong. So I devoted my life making sure people knew this was an option. They may not choose it, but I want them to know it was a choice. Your question about nervous system overload is really important because my dad is the one that pulled me into this hole.

He struggled with something very similar. I would say his whole nervous system fell overloaded to the point. Is it okay if I just share this little two minute story?

AB: Yes, of course, I’d be delighted.

CR: And the reason I’m sharing this is because your question is, how would this ancient system describe nervous system overload? It’s different than the way that Western medicine does, different than the way maybe those who are listening might normally think of it. But when you see it in a new way, new possibilities emerge that you don’t have to have that heaviness in your body, your mind, your emotions. And so, but, for my, in this particular case, it’s interesting, Anshu, I don’t know if you feel this way, but I do things more for people I love than I would for myself.

AB: Oh, wow.

CR: And so when I asked people, I was like, have you ever had someone in your life that you love so much and they’re struggling with some big challenge, like maybe nervous system overload, and you want to help them but you don’t know how? And so, has that ever happened for you, Anshu?

AB: Yes, it happens all the time. It’s called the mother phenomena.

CR: The mother phenomena,

AB: Where you, where you feel, where you, you know, you, you. Every mother does that, right?

CR: Yeah. Oh my goodness. My mom had eight kids. Can you imagine?

AB: Wow. Wow. Well, she must be really overloaded.

CR: Yeah. And you know the beauty of it? I’m going to share a story about her towards the end.

AB: Okay.

CR: I’m number six of eight. But my, so my dad called me on the phone and he said, “can you meet in my office? There’s something really important I want to talk to you about”. And I knew something was wrong. And then my mom, speaking of my mom, she called me and she’s like, “don’t, please don’t miss this meeting with your father”. I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know what it is, but I just know it’s really important to him. So then I started to feel awkward, like maybe I did something wrong. I showed up at his office. I sat in the chair in front of his desk. He sat in the chair to the side of his desk and he looked at the ground for a long time. And then Anshu, when he finally looked up, he said, “Clint, I haven’t told your mother and I haven’t told your brothers or sisters, but I don’t even know if I’m going to live through this week”.

AB: Right.

CR: “And I just want someone to know where the loose ends are so that your mom doesn’t have to worry about it”. And I was so confused, you know, and I asked him, “what’s happening”? And he told me about all the list of all the 12 medications he was on for blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes. But then the biggest thing was this nervous system overload. And he said that he felt at night so much pain and agony and stress in his whole body, like someone slammed his body against the wall. And my dad, who’s always been incredibly optimistic, always looking for the positive. He said, “Clint, I’m in so much suffering, I don’t even know what to live to see the morning some days”.

AB: Oh, my gosh.

CR: Yeah. And so if anyone feels desperate like that, then you’ll know. And if you’ve heard someone you love share that, you’ll know how shocked, how hard it is for the whole family,

AB: Especially a parent. You know, when you hear a parent say that, they’re the people who’ve always protected you and looked after you, and then you hear this, it must be shattering.

CR: You know, Anshu, you’re right. Like, it’s, they’re, like, the one constant. You know, I remember, like, in that moment, like, just feeling all this rush of thoughts, like, I always thought he would be there when I got married and read stories to my kids, I thought, you know, I thought I had endless amount of time, but now I had, like, maybe days, And, so then I, I said, Well, Dad, I, I, I tried to pay attention to what the passwords were, but I told him, I said, you know, I, I just met this master healer. First of all, I asked him, what are you doing? And he said he was visiting with four different doctors, all of them specializing in a certain part of his body. But they had him on 12 medications. But even two of those same doctors said that same month, we don’t know what else to do for you because we’ve tried increasing the dose of medication, we tried switching it, and nothing seems to be helping. And so he gave up hope. Honestly, he kind of just lost a desire to keep trying because nothing seemed to be working. So that’s when I told him. I said, I met this master healer. I didn’t, honestly, because I was skeptical, I didn’t even believe in what he did, but I was desperate. And so I told him, I said, what he does is he takes his fingers and he puts them on your pulse, and then he tells you what’s happening. He shares with you what the problem is. And my dad looked at me very tired. He says, Clint, I’ve already tried other stuff, too. I’ve tried homeopathy, reflexology, Chinese medicine, and acupuncture.

He’s, like, all made big promises. Some helped a little, but then ultimately, I’m in the same situation, so can you please just pay attention to where my passwords are? So I did. I listened as good as I could. But when it was over, I quickly checked online, and I saw that this, you know, this, this, healer was traveling to the US, and I said, dad, for your Father’s Day, I don’t care, I’m flying you to see this man. Because, like, I couldn’t just be resolved that my dad was gonna go, you know.

AB: Right.

CR: I needed something.

AB: Right.

CR: At the time, he was flying around the world. And I, I went. I took my dad to California. And I’m going to shorten this story a little bit. Because I want to get to how it applies to everyone here. My dad was on the plane, so much overload of his whole system. He had to have two people carry him on each side into the room. The room was packed full of 40, 50 people. We saw people going in and out of the office of Dr. Naram is my teacher’s name.

In like, six, seven minutes. And after about two hours of sitting there, my dad leaned over. He said, Clint, why are we here? Is that I can’t even list my medications in the amount of time people are going in and out. And honestly, then I started worrying maybe I’m wasting one of my dad’s last days of life chasing this random, fantastical thing, you know?

AB: Right.

CR: So then they called my dad’s name. And I remember he walked in, like, hunched over, you know, just doing it, basically, just because I brought him there. The door shut, and it was six minutes. Six of the longest minutes of my life. And when the door opened, he walked out, and he was standing straighter. I was like, what happened? And he says, I don’t know how to describe it. I didn’t even tell him anything.

AB: Wow.

CR: Even if I told my four doctors, if they got in the same room, which they never do, but even if they got in the same room to talk about my case, they couldn’t have described accurately. He told me what I was feeling physically.

AB: Oh, my God.

CR: Emotionally. And then he says, I can help you. And so I’m curious. And then basically, in this, in this ancient lineage, they have six keys of how people can rebalance their system.

And so what happens is. Just going back to your original question. What is this nervous system overload? It can come from many different things. But essentially, according to these ancient masters. So, Dr Naram, he had a teacher who lived to be 125. Can you imagine?

AB: Wow.

CR: He had a teacher who lived to be 145. Had a teacher, a teacher, a teacher. The lineage went back to this man, Jivika, who is the physician for Buddha. And they preserved on these ancient manuscripts, these healing secrets about how when you have an overloaded nervous system, how when you have joint pain, how when your mind is overactive, how when you can’t sleep, how when you can’t have babies, you know, whatever it is, how do you cleanse your body and rebalance the system so it regenerates itself, and there’s six keys or six secret instruments. My dad started doing this. Even though someone was different from what we’re used to. Six months later he called me, was sitting in the same chair. He says, I have another big problem. I was like, what is it? And he pulled his medications from behind his desk. My big problem now is I don’t know what to do with all these.

AB: Oh wow.

CR: He had gone in six months from 12 medications to one. No pain, his whole body, his mind more sharp than ever. Before he was going towards early onset dementia and depression. And he was so happy. He says, now I want to do, I want to complete the book I’ve been working on and I want you to co-author it with me. And I was like, oh, that’s a way better invitation.

AB: That is incredible.

CR: Yeah, thank you for letting me share that, Anshu, because I feel like it. For me, it showed me some things were possible that I didn’t know existed. And my mission, even having the book in 42 languages or traveling all over the world. People may not choose this, but I want them to know it’s a choice and it’s simple and it’s based on herbs and diet and pressing certain points on your body. It’s natural. And so why not do an experiment and try it and see what happens?

AB: How is your system of Siddh Vedanta or Siddh Veda, different from Ayurveda?

CR: Oh, beautiful. First of all, if people don’t know what Ayurveda is, it’s a beautiful ancient system. And translated it means the science of life. And you know, I was interested in science and I thought, well, what is the science of life? So instead of like Western medicine where you go for a cure something when it’s wrong, Ayurveda even shows you how to prevent sickness from coming with the cycles of the season and what food you feed yourself and so many other things. Siddha-Veda goes a step even deeper and it’s been passed down from master to student for thousands of years. It not only shows you how, how, how to prevent sickness and these things, but it shows you how to live a life that’s so fulfilling, you know? Dr Naram says anything is a medicine or poison, depending on how you use it, even water or anything could be a poison or medicine, but even your life’s work could be a poison if it’s not aligned with your purpose. You could go to work and hate it, and you’re going to get disease, you know.

AB: Right, right.

CR: And so in Siddha-Veda, there’s certain questions you can ask yourself. In fact, at the end of each chapter, there’s some of these planted in where you start asking yourself these questions. And Dr Naram said 95% of people don’t know what they want. They just don’t know.

AB: Right.

CR: They just go exploring, window shopping, he said, you know, try this husband, that husband, you know, whatever. But then 3% know what they want. They never achieve it. So they burn out. 1%, they know what they want, they achieve it, but they never enjoy it because they did it in a toxic way. And, only 1% of people know what they want. They achieve it and they can enjoy it. And that’s what Siddha-Veda is here to do. It’s here to help guide people how to achieve what you want in this life, but do it in a way that’s great for your nervous system, great for your body, great for your family, great for your relationships, great for the earth, so that you can actually enjoy it.

AB: So you’re saying it combines purpose, with a system about health?

CR: Yeah. You know, a lot of people separate these. In Western medicine, they even separate health into different compartments of the body. But in this ancient system, we see it as all interconnected. It’s not just the food you feed here, but also the food you feed here.

AB: Absolutely, yes.

CR: Things that you can do that can totally change your life, that are simple and a lot of them are free. And so why not do an experiment, you know?

AB: Fantastic. So now tell me. You know, what I hear a lot from people is that they’re saying we can’t switch off, even though we’re absolutely shattered. So how, can you explain to me what is this phenomenon that we’re seeing everywhere around us where people are wired and tired at the same time?

CR: No, it’s a really beautiful question. I think as the world shifts, I believe the world, you know, for anyone listening who feels like the world changed a lot in the last four or five years.

AB: Totally.

CR: And I feel like it’ll change even more in this upcoming four to five years. There’s going to be the advent of certain technologies and things happening on the planet that’s going to make it so our nervous system, unless we’re doing specific things, you’re going to get tapped out. Even now with social media, the way even social media is designed is to activate dopamine. So you’re addicted to this thing. And the way advertising and marketing is makes you feel like you’re not enough. So we’re all sucked into this system where we have to keep going and doing more and never feeling satisfied. And so what’s beautiful about Siddha-Veda is it helps refocus it from outside world to your inside world and gives the power back into your hands and your heart to choose what do you want.

AB: Right.

CR: And then from that place, powerful things can happen. I don’t know. Did I answer your question?

AB: So I was asking about how can you be wired and tired at the same time?

CR: Yeah. What happens, it could, now, according to Siddha-Veda, according to this system, it could be a few different things. And so it could be, for instance, hormonal imbalance could happen. It could be that you don’t have the right nutrients in your system. It could be there is a certain block and so that thing is out of balance. It could be that your body is flooded with toxins either from the things you’ve eaten over your whole life that have built up. Like you go to a car dealership and you get your oil changed and sometimes they give you the filters, you know, the air filter, the oil filter, and it’s gunked up like crazy. The same thing happens in our digestive system. And some people are so sensitive from the electrical wires in the walls and from putting a phone next to their head every day, from the fumes of the exhaust from the cars. Like so many things can produce toxins in our system. And so what we’ve created is something called a delicious detox, you know.

AB:  Oh, wow, okay.

CR:  Change your food can change your future. And so when you’re wired and tired, why not take 7 days or 30 days and change your food in specific way and you see how much more energy you have, how much more better sleep you’re having, how much more clear your mind is, how much more creative you are, how much naturally spontaneously happy you are.

AB: So my next question to you was, from a Siddha-Veda perspective, where and how does unresolved stress show up in your body?

CR: So powerful question, you know, even, even, one of the quotes in this book, Dr Naram says that 80% of our illness or disease comes from unresolved trauma. Many times from when we were kid, you know.

AB: Right, right.

CR: Our body stores it in many different places. It could store it, but lots of times also in our digestive system, you know, can I just walk you through a one minute thing just real quick for everyone?

AB: I’d love that. Yes, go ahead.

CR: Yeah. So if just right now you close your eyes, because we’ve been listening a lot, you know, but just close your eyes. Sit with both feet on the ground if you can, back straight. And then with me, just take a deep breath in and let out a sigh. Deep breath in. And then just in this stillness, you just pay attention to the sensations in your body and you may even notice where there’s some tightness, shallowness of breath. And then without putting a story, you just notice the sensation of it. Maybe it feels heavy, maybe it feels dense. Maybe there’s a color associated with it. Maybe there’s some texture you can describe with it. For you, Anshu, do you notice anything, any part of your body that can you, which part of your body, where can you locate?

AB: I feel it on the left side of my head at the back.

CR: Left side of the back. And if you’re going to give a color to it, what color would you give?

AB:  It’s like an indigo. Indigo?

CR: Yeah. And what is density? Is it dense, is it light?

AB: It’s like a thick liquid. Paste. It’s like a paste? Yeah, like a paste.

CR: The texture is kind of like a paste, right? Yeah. And, and the size of it, would you say is the size of like a.

AB: It’s like a spiral.

CR: Spiral. Okay. Yeah. Beautiful.

And so then with noticing whatever this is, and for each person listening, it could be different. It most likely is going to be very different. Different color, different texture, different shape. I just want you to just notice it right now and just thank your body. Thank you for being amazing. Thank you even for that sensation. Just in a moment of gratitude, say thank you for serving some purpose, even if it’s beyond my awareness. Thank you, body. Thank you, mind. Thank you, emotions. Thank you, heart. Just go ahead and take another deep breath in, let out a sigh. You can slowly open your eyes again. We go through life so focused on the outside, sometimes we forget just to even take an inventory of what’s happening inside of us. And once you have that inventory. And that’s what we do when we take a pulse. I’ve also been trained in this ancient art. We can scan and see where’s the blocks and where’s the imbalances, and then how do we rebalance the system?

AB: I’m going to ask you something, that’s a really tall order. We’re going through this global sleep crisis. People are not sleeping. Everywhere I go in the world, they’re saying, we feel drained, we can’t sleep. We’re having issues sleeping. I mean, obviously this is because of our overloaded nervous systems. But how do we fix this?

CR: Such an important question. Dr. Naram, he says that sleep is the greatest healer, actually. And if you don’t have good sleep, everything is going to suffer. Your body can’t regenerate, actually. It just doesn’t have time or capacity to even regenerate. And so he told me a story about one person who hadn’t had a minute of sleep for something like 25 years. I don’t know if this is going to be too challenging of a story, but he asked him, well, why not? And he said, there’s ghosts that come to me in my sleep.

AB: Oh, gosh.

CR: Whenever I try to sleep, there’s ghosts that come and say, well, what happened? And, you know, we traveled all over the world. We went to Italy and France and, you know, all over Asia and USA and Canada. And we were in Germany. And this man said, he said, well, I was, he was. I was, was a guard at a concentration camp, and I must have killed thousands of people. And they all show up in my. They show up as ghosts in my mind, and I can’t sleep.

AB: Wow.

CR: And you know what’s interesting is that Dr Naram, he doesn’t. What I learned from him is he doesn’t put a judgment on anyone’s past. Like, prostitutes would come to him or mafia or priests or nuns or whoever. And he would always see the divine in everyone and say, okay, what do you want? Because whatever we’ve chosen to do with our lives, sometimes it builds up. Like, if you eat a lot of junk food, your digestion is going to be full of gunk. But also if you’ve made certain choices, it’s going to build up in your nervous system some guilt or some heaviness. And so this man, it was stacked. He couldn’t sleep at all. Now, for some people, it’s the choices they made. Other people, they’re so empathic, they can feel what the world is feeling. They can feel how everyone’s nervous system is acting. Because we’re interconnected, they’re going to have trouble sleeping. And so how do you create a protective field, you know, so you can rest at peace? Or if you’ve made certain choices, how can you let that go so the past doesn’t have to determine your future? Now, in this book, I describe certain things that people can do, and it’s amazing. This man that I talked about, when he did these specific things, he had the first night’s sleep in his life. People who are empathetic, who I’ve seen, who are empathic, and they can’t sleep because they’re feeling everyone else’s stress and anxiety in the world, there’s some specific things they do that make it so calm. They sleep like a baby. And then you can be of more service to the planet. You can’t be of service if your body is tapped out.

AB: Right.

CR: So can I share at least one of these now? I don’t know if you. If it’s okay, this is a good time to share.

AB: Yes, yes. No, please, go ahead. This is very valuable information you’re sharing with us.

CR: Yeah, there’s a, even in the very first and second and third chapter of the book, there’s certain home remedies, I call this a bible of home remedies. Because you can, you know, you have joint problems, you take that home remedy, or you can’t sleep, you find that home remedy, you have a headache, you find that home remedy. So there’s a beautiful, powerful one, and this one is on page 31. And there’s a couple things you can do which are powerful. And so you know Ghee is, Anshu.

AB: Of course. Yeah,

CR: Yeah. Many people don’t know what ghee is, actually, at least in America. I don’t know about new buyers all over, but this says, I have some ghee here. Basically, it’s clarified butter.

AB: Clarified butter, yes.

CR: You can buy it or you can. You can make it on your own. What happens is you cook it on a really low heat and all the milk solids come out, you strain it through, and the substance that’s left is medicinal. It’s called Ghee. You know, and so this remedy involves ghee. So you actually take a teaspoon. Half a teaspoon of Ghee. And then you take a pinch of nutmeg, one thread of saffron in a spoon, and then you can cook it with a little flame, and then you stir it.

And then you take an eyedropper, but you don’t put it in your eyes. You actually lean back on the bed and you put two drops in each nostril and you let it lubricate your brain. You just let it lubricate into your brain.

AB: People who live in cold countries, is it still okay in the winter to use the Ghee or should they move to oil?

CR: Well, you can also do oil too. And some people are vegan, you know, so they don’t want to use any animal products. In that particular case, you could use some oil. Now when we’re using it here, we’re warming it, and so it’s actually like a warm oil entering and lubricating. Now sometimes when I meet friends who, because I grew up in a very conservative Christian Western culture, we’re not used to sticking stuff in our nose as a medicine. But I said, just try it, do an experiment, do it for a week.

AB: So even in winter you would say, do it in winter. It’s okay to use ghee in winter as well.

CR: Also when you heat it like that, it’s also okay.

AB: Okay, okay. Okay. Thank you.

CR: There was a young, a young girl in, in Dubai actually. And, when there, she was so anxious, upset, nervous system was rebelling against her parents, not doing well in school, just not good in her body. And I remember when Dr Naram Om gave her this remedy in this book. When we were back, her parents wanted to touch his feet. They’re like, we don’t know what you did to our daughter. But she’s sleeping better, her grades are good in school. And now this particular daughter was Hindu. She’s like, she started reading Bhagavad Gita and she started group with her friends, teaching them about spirituality.

AB: Wow. Because of this, because of the ghee remedy?

CR: Yeah, from doing this remedy and changing her diet slightly. Now there’s also something called Marma Shakti. I want to introduce myself. It’s like there’s subtle energy points on the body. When you press, it makes a difference. Like in the room right now, I can touch the wall lots of places, nothing happens. And then I gently touch a light switch, and all the room changes. It’s this little single point on the wall I touch so gently, it changes the whole room. So there’s points on your body that make changes like this as well.

AB: Okay, so your, these remedies, you said calm the vata or the wind energy in your body.

So would they work for travel as well? Because it doesn’t that you know, because a lot of us live, I live between two continents, so I’m constantly traveling.

CR: Now Dr Naram said that travel can be one of the biggest ways to increase wind energy because you’re always, and you’re always moving, you’re always in a different state setting. And this will definitely help in a big way because it reduces vata and makes it so your whole nervous system can be more calm. And there’s other things too. If people ever want a personalized consultation, I can give a link and we can even do something over Zoom where I can personalize it.

AB: And now tell me about this other thing which is everywhere. And it’s hugely helpful. And as you, but you, as you mentioned, it also causes a lot of stress which is phones and the Internet and background noise and information overload. How does one deal with that?

CR: I am so glad you asked this. And I feel like when you asked I felt a special energy that this answer is meant specifically for someone who’s listening right now. And that this, what we’re about to share in the next couple minutes.

AB: It’s meant for me as well.

CR: This can change your life forever. This is an ancient secret that can reduce the whole noise of the world and bring you back to your core, your soul, your purpose. And it’s simple. Any child could understand. But you just have to do it now, in this book, Dr. Naram, he said that most of the disease, so the discomfort comes from focusing on what we don’t want.

AB: Right, right.

CR: Like, you’ll notice, Anshu, towards the day, throughout the day, and anyone listening, if you start to feel anxious, upset and nervous, frustrated, angry, lonely, just be curious. Be like, what was I just focused on? Play a game and so be like, oh. So I can ask myself, Clint, what was I just focused on? Or you can say Anshu, what was I just focused on? 99% of the time, you’re focused, you’re focused. The thought that just went through your head was about, you don’t want. There’s some challenge with your child or your husband or not having a husband or some problem at work or some challenge in the world. Like, you’re usually focused on what you don’t want. And if you start to notice, you’re like, what percent of the time is my brain focused on what I don’t want? And in that way, we seek distraction, actually. And so one of the distractions is social media or calling people or going out. Everyone has their different distraction addictions. Some people, it looks a little more healthy. They go work out or they go. You know, sometimes it’s eating food out of a habit. Like, you’re nervous. And if there’s comfort food for some people, it’s ice cream or cheese or whatever it is, or Doritos or whatever the thing is, you know. Right. Right now. Can I teach you a simple secret we can do right now together that can help reverse that whole thing?

AB: Okay. Fabulous.

CR: Okay, good. There’s. I can do a short way, or I can do a little longer way. One is about three minutes, and one’s about six minutes. What would you like Anshu to do?

AB: I think let’s do the six.

CR: Yeah. To me, if people do this right now, it can reframe your whole everything. Yeah. I was working with this couple in Switzerland, and they were arguing and upset, even though they’re the most lovely people. And then all of a sudden they’re like, wait, we do the Clint. The thing Dr. Clint said. And so they looked and they’re like, yeah, we’re focused on what we don’t want, what I don’t want you to do, what I don’t want to be happening. And so they reframed it. There’s a specific way to discover what you want that’s really powerful. Yeah. So there’s two parts to this. One is following this simple ancient process that was discovered by these masters about how do you discover what you want want so you can focus on that instead of focusing on what you don’t want. That alone makes a huge difference. But before that, sometimes people have to clear out space. So in preparation, I want to share a story of a man in Florida. This man in Florida, he set an appointment where I went, was going to Florida. I was taking pulses. He came with his family, and he said that he was feeling so much overload in his system, he didn’t even know if he wanted to live.

Actually is feeling depressive thoughts. And he says, I probably would, this is like a little bit heavy, but I just sharing it because most of us aren’t to this level, but it can help someone. In this case, he says, I feel so depressed that if I didn’t have my kids, I probably would take my life. And, you know, it’s really serious where someone’s so overloaded, they don’t see hope.

So he was so focused on what he didn’t want. And in this particular case, he said, I, I set an appointment to see Dr. Naram, a pulse consultation. And then I found out Dr. Naram had passed away. And so I set up an appointment with his other student and then found out she passed away. And he said, and then I set up an appointment with you. And I was like, I’m here, I’m here. And so I had the gift and the honor of taking his pulse or having a consultation with him and finding out where the overload was in his system. And then we started some diet, some herbs. And then I showed him this process I’m about to do with you. And, And what’s really beautiful is after. It’s not a quick fix, but it’s like a drop in a bucket. It adds up. And over time, everything is overflowing with something way better. And after certain months, he said that he went out to his, floating in his pool, and he’s like, what is this I’m feeling? He’s like, is this happiness? And even the music his wife was playing that used to annoy him, it sounded beautiful. He saw the clouds above him and the birds fly. And he’s like. He said he felt this mystical experience. Like he’s like, almost like my, my soul is in a romantic dance with the gift of life. That’s how much better he felt.

AB: Wow

CR: And so there’s things I can share about how to get there. But this is one of the starting points. So on your left hand, there’s a point I’m going to have you press and then a visualization I’m going to have you do. But first of all, on your left hand, I want you to go down the fleshy part. So in this fleshy part, you go and press down and find out where there’s a tender spot you could press pretty firm. Like for me, I just found it right there. Did you find it on you?

AB: Yeah, yeah, I did. I did.

CR: Good. So keep your fingers there. And then you’ll close your eyes and everyone. If you can’t find it, just search and see if you can find it. Maybe you have to press a little harder, maybe go down. But wherever it is, you close your eyes and then over your left eye you create a red frame, like a TV screen or projector screen, a red frame.

And the idea here is maybe something comes that you need to let go of. Maybe you need to forgive someone, maybe something hurt you, or maybe you need to forgive yourself. And some people know instantly what it is. And if you don’t know what it is, you don’t even have to know what it is. But sometimes it’s just forgiving yourself that you, you knew you should do better or something or whatever it is. And then whatever it is, even if you don’t have it, you can just keep the red frame. And then that, that soft spot that hurts, you press six times. So press with me on six times. Press for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. And then repeat after me. I forgive and I let go.

AB:  I forgive and I let go.

CR: And then we’re going to press again six times.

AB: 1. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. I forgive and I let go. I forgive and I let go.

CR: Again. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. I forgive and I let go. I forgive and I let go. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. I forgive and I let go. I forgive and I let go. Two, more times. One, two, three, four, five, six. I forgive and I let go. I forgive and I let go. And then the last time. 1. 1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6. I forgive and I let go. I forgive and I let go.

And you just take a deep breath in and let out a sigh. Deep breath in. Now this alone is so powerful.

AB: I’m sure.

CR: I had a man, actually, the man who translated the book into Romanian, when I did this process with him, he saw something from when he was a teenager and the neighbor’s family he had some disagreement with. Now the neighbor’s family moved away 20 years before that, he’s like, I need to forgive myself and I need to forgive them. And he did. That same day, he’s in the park with his wife and he’s talking about this. And he hadn’t seen this family for 20 years. The father of that family walked into the park.

AB: Oh my goodness.

CR: And he was able to say, I’m so sorry for what happened when I was a teenager and the whole thing was gone, you know.

AB: Oh my goodness. So how many would you say do this once a day? If you want to get your nervous system back to balance.

CR: There’s some stuff I’ll show you that you can do every day. I’ll show you the whole process if you want. But this thing you can do as per your heart. And what happens is it realigns. And when you’re vibrating at a different frequency, then different things happen outside of you. Now the second part. Now that the left side has passed, we’ve let go.

AB: Okay.

CR: We can move into the future. So on your right hand, Anshu.

AB: Yeah.

CR: Right pointer finger. The top portion here.

AB: Yeah.

CR: You’ll just press six times. 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6.

AB: So the top bit of your right hand index finger, you press six times.

CR: Okay, now, now I want you to close your eyes. Everyone doing this, I want you to keep your finger there so you can keep pressing. But close your eyes. And over your right eye, you have a white frame. A white frame like a TV screen or projector screen. A white screen. And then you press this point six times. 1, 2, 3, 3, 4, 5, 6. And then ask yourself, what do I want? What do you want? And then give space. Maybe an image comes, maybe a thought comes. And if you need more clarity, you can say, what do I want from today? What do I want from today? And you need to, you can press the point again six times and ask yourself again, what do I want, I want today?  So I’m going to ask you, Anshu, what do you want? What do you want for today?

AB: For today, I want this podcast to reach the hearts of people all over the world.

CR: So now you see that image of it happening in your. When you’re closing your eyes and the. See that happening? You can see the faces in the hearts of people all over the world and touching and moving, inspiring their hearts. And then you press that six points and you feel that feeling inside of you. What it feels like is there. Can you feel the inside of your body that you’re feeling?

AB:  Totally.

CR: Describe the feeling.

AB: It’s like I feel it in my heart, I feel it in my throat. I almost feel like I want to cry. It’s like a sense of. Yeah, it’s the sense of, I don’t know, gratitude, for want of another word.

CR: Yeah. And can you put a color to it?

AB: White. Pure white light.

CR: Oh, beautiful. This beautiful sensation in your heart and your throat. This gratitude, almost wanting to cry with. So happy, so grateful with this white light. So memorize that. And then again, everyone can take a deep breath in, let out a sigh, and you can slowly open your eyes. Now, everyone watching this, you probably had some different thing come up. Maybe you wanted to just relax today. Maybe you wanted to have connection with some people you love. Maybe you just wanted to be more honest than ever. Maybe you wanted to ask forgiveness or forgive someone or connect with your mom or your dad or your children in a new way, or. Or maybe you wanted some more abundance to come in your life or whatever it is. And then you feel it in your body. You get that color. Now this is an important part too. I’m, I’m giving a bonus. This is the third thing I wasn’t going to share at the beginning. On your right arm, you’ll see, you can measure from your finger, seven finger lengths down. So from your palm, where the palm ends. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. So this.

AB: 5, 6, 7. Yeah.

CR: Now this point, you just put your thumb on or your finger. Now, anytime during the day, Anshu, that you start to feel anxious, nervous, upset, overloaded from anything happening outside. Maybe an alert comes on your phone about some news story that’s troubling, or a text message comes that really troubles you or anything, or someone says something that, whatever. Then if you start to feel anxious or nervous, you’re like, what was I focused on? I’m focused on what I don’t want. Okay, what do I want? Then you keep holding here, but close your eyes. And you see that image of this podcast going out. Touching, moving, inspiring, healing, helping people all over the planet. And you can’t help but feel that feeling, that sensation in your heart, your throat, that white light. You see the white light and then you press this point six times to anchor it in. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. And you can take a deep breath.

AB: So for the people who are on the audio, who are not looking at us, who can’t see the video, you’re saying, move down your wrist on your right side, down your arm, seven fingers. And then the inside of your arm, you press that with your thumb at that spot where this seventh finger point. Six times.

CR: Six times. And what it is. So Dr Naram, he explained to me, in this ancient healing system, there’s conscious mind, there’s subconscious mind, and there’s super conscious. And lots of times our conflict is when there’s something out of alignment. Maybe we want something so bad, but our subconscious has been programmed from when we’re kids some way, or from TV or whatever. And this reprograms ourselves with what we want. Not with what the movies told us we should want, not with what our parents told us what we should want. And when you’re in alignment, magical things happen and you start to feel more peace. Instead of having the outside world dictate to you what you should feel and what you should want, you release, letting go. And then you focus on what you want. And you can do this anytime during the day. You start to feel stressed, worry, nervous. And you always have your hands.

AB: Before you go, I want to. I’m going to ask you for 5 second healing hacks, because I know you’ve given us some incredible healing hacks, but I’m going to ask you for very quick answers to a few more afternoon energy crash.

CR: Yeah, beautiful. So this marmas we did here, where you can squeeze the head. And this also can put energy inside of you in a beautiful way.

AB: Fantastic. Stomach feels heavy after a meal.

CR: You know, for that, I think for most people cooking ginger tea and dipping it slowly increases what they call agony or digestive fire.

AB: Okay. Feeling irritated for no reason.

CR: Yeah, feeling irritated for no reason. Again, focus on, say, what did I. What am I just focused on? I’m probably focused on what I don’t want. And this process for refocusing on what you do want, even you can just ask yourself, what do I want? And then focus on that thing.

AB: Okay, fantastic. And having a really bad headache at the end of the day.

CR: Yeah. Now, this one is a little bit more intricate, but I can send a video. There’s different kinds of headaches. Based on different kinds of imbalances. So to do something truly effective. But even what you could start with is take some Ghee. Then you can take a half a teaspoon and just eat half a teaspoon of Ghee with a little bit of water. And lots of times that will help.

AB: Thank you so, so, so much for an insightful and deeply nourishing conversation. Every time I meet Dr Clint, I come away feeling so nourished, and today’s discussion would’ve reminded a lot of you that ancient healing isn’t about looking back, it’s about coming back to ourselves. It’s about paying attention, slowing down, and recognising the wisdom of our bodies and emotions. And if something in this episode resonated with you, or if it offered a new way of seeing your own wellness, please share it with your friend, with your family, anyone who might need that gentle reminder. And don’t forget to subscribe, it’s free, and it helps us continue building this community that learns, heals, and grows together. I am Anshu Bahanda. Take care of yourself, be patient with your energy, and keep finding small ways to support your own wellbeing. And we’ve had a lot of those from wonderful Dr Clint Rogers today. Thank you.
