But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The sanctuary also provides physiotherapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, reiki, psychology, and psycho emotional healing. There are specialised programs and packages designed to address a wide range of health issues, including long Covid recovery, sleep induction, stress reduction, and hormonal balance.

The options may seem overwhelming at first, but the essence of each package is a personalised, medically supervised treatment plan. The helpful team at The Farm will guide you through the options and help you craft your ideal retreat.

Here’s a summary of my experience: The property is a haven for nature lovers, with resident peacocks, geese, ducks, and a magnificent 300-year-old mango tree that serves as the majestic home to peacocks. The entire property radiates a mystical energy that enhances the expertise of its medical practitioners, creating an environment where the healing process is deeply invigorating.

Wellness journeys here begin with a Live Blood Analysis, where a finger prick blood droplet is examined under a microscope. Though not diagnostic, it provides intriguing insights for health discussions. This is typically followed by a Voice Analysis, an interesting process where one speaks into a microphone for about a minute, and the experts offer an interpretation of your  personality, mental state, and physical health on the basis of this.

Dr Marian Alonzo, the medical director, and her dedicated team craft comprehensive strategies addressing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of well-being. Each day brought a unique colonic treatment targeting various parts of the colon, offering a comprehensive detox experience, concluding with a soothing aloe vera treatment on the fourth day.

The Farm’s Healing Sanctuary and Aqua Sanctuary offered rejuvenation through spa experiences that were nothing short of divine. My days started with yoga sessions overlooking a picturesque lake, setting the perfect tone for what lay ahead. The retreat also offered guided nature walks, fitness classes, and meditation sessions at various times throughout the day. The property’s culinary offerings didn’t disappoint either.

Whether you’re looking for a complete lifestyle overhaul or simply a serene holiday retreat focused on healthy food, relaxation, mindfulness, and fitness, The Farm at San Benito has something to offer. Every moment here is a step towards feeling better and living healthier. The lasting impact of this retreat has been profound. Now, I’ve kicked my sugar habit, lost some weight, and think clearer. Each day is a step towards better health and understanding myself more, making The Farm at San Benito a starting point to a longer, healthier life journey. So, would I return to The Farm at San Benito? Without a doubt.

What makes it truly special is its groundbreaking tech, Kintsugi Voice.

But here’s the real game-changer: Kintsugi doesn’t just listen; it tracks your mental well-being and offers real-time insights. This isn’t just a leap forward for personal mental health; it could revolutionise how we approach well-being in the workplace too. It seamlessly integrates with telehealth platforms and care management call centres, making mental health care more personal and accessible.

As Grace Chang, co-founder of Kintsugi, pointed out, this could turn mental health screenings from an annual event into a routine check, shifting our perspective on mental well-being.
